Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Blushora (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Blushora mobile app and related services (the “App”).
Blushora provides daily sky readings and optional palmistry for entertainment only. It is not medical, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not a prediction of lifespan, health, or future events.
1. Who we are
Blushora is a consumer entertainment app that generates daily “sky” readings from your date of birth and offers optional palm readings from a photo you choose to capture or upload.
Questions about this policy: hello@blushora.app. For general help, see Support.
2. Age requirement
The App is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the App. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
3. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Blushora, we may collect the following:
Account and profile
| Account credentials | Sign-in via Apple, Google, or email/password (through Firebase Authentication). This may include email address and a provider user ID. We do not receive your Apple or Google password. |
|---|---|
| Nickname | The name or nickname you choose so we can greet you in the App. |
| Date of birth | Used to determine sun-sign context and generate today’s entertainment reading. We do not use date of birth to target advertising to users under 18. |
| Reading credits / “days” | Counts of free and purchased reading days, and whether you have unlocked “remove ads,” stored with your account so progress can restore across devices. |
Palm prints (optional)
If you use palmistry features, you may take a photo with the camera or pick an image from your photo library. Palm images are stored on your device for the reading flow. We do not upload palm images to our servers as part of the standard App design. On-device checks may run to confirm a hand is visible before a reading continues.
Purchases
If you buy day packs or remove ads, Apple App Store or Google Play process the payment. We receive purchase confirmation and product identifiers needed to unlock content. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, the App can schedule local notifications on your device and register for push notifications through Apple Push Notification service (APNs) / Firebase Cloud Messaging (title/teaser for that day’s sky or optional updates). We store a device push token with your account so we can deliver those messages. Notification permission is optional.
Device, diagnostics, and ads
- Crash and stability data via Firebase Crashlytics (for example, crash logs, device model, OS version, and an app-instance or user identifier we associate after sign-in). Collection is typically enabled for non-debug builds.
- Advertising via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Ad networks may collect device identifiers, IP address, and interaction data under their own policies. You may see ads unless you purchase remove-ads.
- App preferences stored locally on your device (for example, onboarding completion, reminder time, entertainment acknowledgment).
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and maintain your account and sync profile/credits across devices
- Generate entertainment sky and palm readings
- Process in-app purchases and restore entitlements
- Show ads (unless removed) and measure basic ad delivery as provided by the ad SDK
- Schedule optional local daily reminders and deliver optional push notifications
- Diagnose crashes and improve App stability and performance
- Respond to support requests and enforce our terms and safety rules
- Comply with law and protect against fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Storage, retention, and security
- On device: palm images, local preferences, and scheduled reminders.
- In the cloud: account and profile fields such as nickname, date of birth, email (if provided), auth provider, palm-hand preference metadata, credits, onboarding status, and remove-ads status — stored with Firebase services associated with your account.
We retain account and profile data while your account is active. If you delete your account in the App, we delete the cloud profile associated with that account and clear local user data on that device, subject to backups, legal retention, and residual copies in security or crash logs for a limited period.
We use industry-standard safeguards provided by our platforms and vendors. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access / update: edit your nickname in profile settings; date of birth and email are treated as account identity fields in the App.
- Palm data: delete a saved palm from the App; uninstalling also removes on-device images.
- Notifications: turn reminders off in settings or in system notification settings.
- Ads: purchase remove-ads, or use platform ad / tracking controls (including App Tracking Transparency on iOS where applicable).
- Delete account: use You → Delete account in the App to permanently remove your Firebase sign-in and Blushora cloud profile. No email or support ticket is required to complete deletion.
Depending on where you live (for example, EEA/UK, California, and other regions), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact hello@blushora.app to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
8. Children’s privacy
Blushora is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users under 18 should review this policy with a parent or guardian. We do not use date of birth for advertising targeting of users under 18.
9. International transfers
Our service providers (including Google) may process data in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms offered by our vendors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted in the App or by email when appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
